NEW - Handmade Sculpted Pendant Lightshade: 'Bouquet' in ivory banana fibre

The ‘Bouquet’ lightshade has a wonderfully organic yet refined appearance, referencing cascading floral bouquets. Intricately curled and ruched trails of banana fibre provide a gorgeous texture on the top tier, adorned with additional leaves arranged across the piece. Curling leaves cascade from the lower tier, creating a partial diffuser integral to the design.

  • Handmade in London by Karen Henriksen. Each lightshade is made to order - despatch is approx 4-6 weeks from order. Please let us know if your order is more urgent than this, or if you have a specific date that you’d like to receive it.

  • This product is a lightshade only. It will fit a screw cap E27 lamp fitting as standard, or a traditional UK bayonet B22 lamp fitting using the washer included. If you are looking to replace your light fitting and would like help or recomendations in doing so, please get in touch.

  • IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION - This lightshade is designed to be used with an LED light bulb only. Max 60W. Any other types of light bulb are not recommended. For added peace of mind, each lightshade is treated with a fire retardant spray.

  • Material: 100% sinamay (banana fibre). Also sometimes called Abaca, it is widely used in the millinery trade - made by independent weavers and small family co-ops in the Phillipines, who work directly with our suppliers, small family businesses here in the UK.

  • Colour: As with most textiles, over time, the colour may alter slightly, depending on the conditions of the room, in particular how much sunlight it is exposed to. Even in a very bright setting, it will be a slow, gradual process. White tends to mellow and become less bright. Ivory and Natural will deepen slightly.

  • Dimensions: Total diameter: approx 65cm. Total height: approx 60cm. As a handmade piece, and the nature of its design, these dimensions can only be approximate.

    • International £330. Please note - we are sometimes able to ship for a lower price than this. In such cases we will refund the difference afterwards.

    • You will be responsible for international duties and local taxes where applicable.

  • Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we are of course happy to offer a refund or exchange. Please notify us by email as soon as possible, and return the lightshade to us in the same packaging within 28 days. Unfortunately we cannot refund either original or return shipping costs.
