Handmade Sculpted Lightshade: 'Storm' in banana fibre, size large (3 colour options)
The ‘Storm’ lightshade has been created from large, draped swathes of banana fibre, hand-stitched onto a handmade drum. The bias-cut material swirls around the drum in an abstract and asymmetric pattern, and continues partially over the aperture, creating a diffuser integral to the design.
The abstract and asymmetrical nature of the drapery gives the lightshade a slightly different appearance from all angles, and means that each one is unique.

Each lightshade is made to order - despatch is approx 4-6 weeks from order. Please let us know if your order is more urgent than this.
Material: 100% sinamay (banana fibre). Also sometimes called Abaca, it is widely used in the millinery trade - made by independent weavers and small family co-ops in the Phillipines, who work directly with our suppliers, small family businesses here in the UK.
This lightshade will fit a screw cap E27 lamp fitting, or a traditional UK bayonet B22 lamp fitting using the minimiser included. Bulb requirements: LED only (max 7.5W).
