Style Guide|Women’s Designer Hats|What to wear if you have a round face shape

Do you ever wonder how to choose a hat, cap or fedora that will enhance and flatter your face shape?

Taking inspiration from famous faces, we’ve put together some top tips on choosing a hat for round or round-ish face shapes, along with a selection of hats from Karen’s collection to help you find out what might suit you.

Round face shapes : some examples

We have picked out some famous female faces to show off characteristics of the round face shape. A round overall outline, wide forehead or wide cheeks are quite typical of the round face shape.

As always, hairstyles can either emphasise or deflect from the face shape, depending on the effect you’re looking for.

Adding height to your hair style can be a good move for round face shapes, as it can appear to lengthen the overall silhouette of your face. And here, Emma Stone and Kirsten Dunst are wearing their long hair down with a side-sweep: this has a lengthening effect too.

The key advice with headwear is: choose hats that add some asymmetry, some height and/or some angular details - Generally, try to avoid hats with a rounded silhouette.

Here is our selection of hats from Karen’s extensive women’s collection that work well for round or round-ish face shapes.
