Style Guide|Men’s Designer Hats|What to wear if you have a round face shape
Do you have a round face shape? Do you ever wonder what are the most flattering hat designs for you?
(If you’re not sure what your face shape is, take a look at this post for some helpful tips.)
Round face shapes : some examples
We have picked out some famous faces to show off characteristics of the round face shape. A round overall outline, wide forehead or wide cheeks are quite typical of the round face shape.
Looking at our famous faces, there are two hairstyle trends that stand out: Ed Sheeran’s longer hairstyle is brushed to one side, adding some flattering asymmetry. Meanwhile both Frank Lampard’s and Leonardo DiCaprio’s hair is styled upwards - adding height can also be flattering for round face shapes, as it can appear to lenghten the overall silhouette of your face.
Similarly with headwear, you should consider hats that add height, some asymmetry and/or have an angular/square-shaped outline - avoid hats with a rounded silhouette.
Here is our selection of hat and flat cap shapes from Karen’s extensive men’s collection that would work well for round or round-ish face shapes.
